The STM EVO-GP wet-to-dry clutch conversion kit is a race-derived technical solution developed to transform the original clutch system into a dry clutch with slipper technology. The kit includes a clutch basket, 40D clutch plate pack, and a new CNC-machined engine cover, creating a complete system designed to improve control, precision, and motorcycle behavior during demanding sport riding conditions.

STM slipper clutch technology is designed to reduce rear-wheel hopping under braking, caused by negative engine torque during deceleration. The system activates only when this condition occurs, modulating torque transfer and helping keep the motorcycle more stable during hard braking and rapid downshifts.

How does the STM EVO-GP slipper clutch work?

The slipper system operates during deceleration and braking, when the engine produces negative torque. In this phase, the clutch reduces harsh torque transfer to the rear wheel, helping limit wheel hop, instability, and sudden reactions during downshifts.
