Piston made of 2618 Aluminum alloy is coated in the shell area with a solid lubricant. The piston is a component to be mounted on internal combustion engines, unless otherwise indicated, it must be used with normal commercial fuels (unleaded petrol). Assembly and disassembly must be carried out by specialized personnel.

The Piston specific for Aprilia RSV4 2009>2016 is supplied with the following components:

1 Pin: In case-hardened carbon steel and possibly DLC coated
1 Segment: In steel and pearlitic cast iron
1 Oil scraper: In steel and pearlitic cast iron
2 Pin retaining rings: In harmonic steel
