All Malossi cast iron and aluminum cylinders are divided by selection classes.

This ranges from selection 0 (smaller piston) to selection D (larger piston). Each selection step is equivalent to an increase of 0.01 mm.

At the time of your order, carefully check the selection as shown below:

34 3448 is equivalent to selection 0

34 3448.A0 is equivalent to selection A

34 3448.B0 is equivalent to selection B

34 3448.C0 is equivalent to selection C

34 3448.D0 is equivalent to selection D

Only the following surcharges are available for cast iron cylinders:

34 3448.40 is equivalent to the surcharge of 0.4 mm

34 3448.80 is equivalent to the 0.8 mm increase

For the most recent production pistons, the 0.2 mm - 0.6 mm extensions are also available (eg 34 3448.20 - 34 4375.60).

All Malossi cylinders are selected and show the selection number, month and year of control.

All Malossi pistons carry the letter or selection number.

The piston must be inserted into the cylinder with the arrow pointing towards the discharge
