LAMBDA MODULATOR

The original scooter ECU, which analyzes the air-fuel ratio and adjusts the carburetion accordingly, typically interfaces with the lambda sensor installed on the exhaust.

Force Master 3 intercepts the signal from the original sensor, sending the values produced by a "virtual" lambda to the primary ECU, allowing for dynamic and customized management of the air-fuel ratio at all times when the original system would be programmed to analyze lambda sensor data.

This enables precise management of the air-fuel ratio in the idle and transition zones, which are usually limited due to lambda sensor interference.

A more advanced circuit has been implemented to eliminate electrical interference normally present in the throttle position sensor signal. This improves accuracy in determining the actual throttle opening degree and significantly enhances response times, benefiting engine performance and efficiency.

HARDWARE AND INTERFACE

Complementing such sophisticated hardware is a microprocessor with exceptionally high computing power, allowing Malossi engineers to introduce new software strategies and fully harness the capabilities of Force Master 3.
