These absolutely reliable high performance oversized cylinders are designed and manufactured with CadCam system at Malossi premises in Calderara di Reno (Bologna), using known and proven calculations and technologies to redefine the new thermo-fluid dynamic cycle and the cooling system, as well as structural calculations.

These cylinders resulted to be exceptional for their amazing acceleration performance.

During the development process original cdis alone proved not to be sufficient to provide an adequate fuel supply to the engine. So Malossi decided to develop FORCE MASTER 2: an additional cdi with special maps capable to optimize carburetion.

With the usual carefulness and the use of sophisticated methods and instruments, Malossi engineers have managed to adjust carburetion point by point, from minimum to maximum and vice versa, avoiding any engine hesitation.

Cylinder

• Bore: è3 mm
• Stroke: 58.7 mm
• Displacement: 183
• Compression ratio: 10.6:1
• Material: primary aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon, cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die and crossed smoothing with two diamond passages with very limited tolerances.
• Machining: on machine tools with high precision numerical control.
• Cylinder-piston connection with an allowance of 0.05 mm.
• Recalculated and upgraded heat exchange surfaces.

Piston

• Ultra compact with 3 rings.
• Material: special aluminium alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and a tin facing on the sliding surfaces.
• Machining on machine tools with numerical control.
• Lightened and reinforced.
• Upgraded heat exchange surfaces.

Piston rings

• Special rings with high sliding ease and very high mechanical resistance.
• I? ring compression in nitrided and chromium steel.
• II? special cast iron ring Three - piece scraper ring made of chromium-plated special steel alloy.
