The use of the new O2 controller allowsfor carburetion management in the areawhere the Lambda sensor controls theair/petrol mixture to be introduced intothe combustion chamber. This device isable to make the Lambda sensor workat a value other than stoichiometric,improving the A/F (Air/Fuel ratio)to improve torque and power whilerespecting the engine’s DNA.

Malossi’s research and developmentdepartment’s main objective isto ensure that each vehicle has acalibration designed to optimiseperformance and consumption.

Full carburetion control is achieved by combining the O2 controller with the Force Master control unit. The synergy of these two devices has no limits, the entire quoted plane is managed, controlled and optimised for any processing step proposed by Malossi.

The evolution that engine controlsystems have undergone in recentyears has led to the design of this newversion. The emulation of the Lambdasensor signals now correspondsperfectly to the original sensor, whilethe appearance has been refined andenhanced with an essential opticalinterface, which emulates the realoperation of the device.

The Power LED indicates correct powersupply, while the remaining two LEDsshow the carburetion status. Afterignition of the vehicle, the power andRich (rich carburetion) led lights up.After a period of sensor warm up, if youare in the Lambda closed loop controlarea, you will see the two Rich and LeanLEDs light up alternately.This type of action highlights thecorrect functioning of the devicethrough continuous calibration of theA/F title.
