The new bikes no longer use the throttle control formed by a coil with steel cables, but a more modern digital potentiometer that passes the gas opening commands directly to the electronic control unit. This command eliminates the annoying bends of the original command and in extreme use it reduces the possibility of signal loss.The ergal JetPrime cover replaces this component usually in plastic with one in sturdy aluminum (Ergal) that preserves the internal electronics supplying the bike's standard commands, always according to the Plug & Play directives.

Each Jet Prime hendlebar switch is made from billet aluminum 7075 (Ergal) machined through CNC machinery, they are also equipped with IP69K military-standard switches that guarantee watertightness and operation that goes over a million cycles.
