The new FKR is the perfect cartridge kit to have for riders who demand the best performance from their bike. Designed for top-level racing in the SuperStock and SuperSport classes, the new FKR cartridge kit will offer you the best performance in the race without having to change the entire fork. Created for the supersport bikes like: the Yamaha R1 / R6, the BMW S1000RR / HP4, the Honda CBR1000RR, the Kawasaki ZX10R, the Aprilia RSV4R, the Ducati Panigale, the Triumph Daytona 675, Mv Agusta F3 and the Suzuki GSXR1000R.
The FKR cartridge kit is equipped with a pressurized spring system, compared to the old pressurized gas system, and the spring seal ensures a simpler design, and ease of maintenance and modification of settings. Thanks to the pressurized spring system, there is no risk of gas leaks, but it also offers a more consistent performance curve and allows for a more compact design. Öhlins engineers decided to completely transform the FKR with respect to its predecessor. With the Ohlins TTX technology, the new redesigned piston and the 8mm piston shaft, the pressure build-up has been reduced and a faster damping response has been created. This gives a "linear" style of damping characteristics that creates more adjustment options and increases grip and shock absorption properties and improves chassis stability, accuracy, comfort and safety.
