GPS technology is a fundamental tool for data acquisition, the GPS09 module in combination with Race Studio 3 software represents the maximum development with regard to precision in the acquisition of all the fundamental parameters for the analysis of the lap on the track. Acquisition is immediate from the moment you enter the circuit, it will be possible to check the lap times and all the data necessary for fine-tuning the engine, track position speed and trajectories.

Two satellite systems synonymous with reliability and precision

The GPS09 is precise and reliable, in addition to the detection by GPS satellites it uses that of the Glonass system (Global Navigation Satellite System) signal that comes from about 20 satellites in combined for the maximum precision in the signal.

Real advantages:

• The margin of tolerance is reduced to one meter, which ensures great precision whatever the position on the track.
• The signal is very fast, a few seconds the GPS09 is already fully operational
• The danger in signal "darkness" situations is almost nullified, the two signals in fact compensate each other.

With your track in the AiM database, GPS09 does everything by itself

If the track is present in the Race Studio 3 database, the GPS09 module immediately starts detecting lap times. About 2000 tracks are included all over the world (Map, contact information and logo). The data is organized by country, type and circuit background, it will therefore be possible to create personal lists by adding and/or removing the desired tracks. In case your track was not included in the database, you can easily add it to your personal selection when you download the data of your test with Race Studio 3.

The GPS09 is essential not only for lap times

The GPS09 allows to detect: speed, longitudinal and lateral acceleration, analyzes the trajectories giving the possibility to evaluate possible errors and improve their performance. A very useful parameter is the "expected time" to help improve performance in real time, knowing if you are progressing better or worse than the best lap.

For covered cars GPS09 is available in the "Roof" variant
