THE MONO SHOCK ABSORBER FOR THE OFFROAD

In the Ohlins assortment there has always been a 46mm shock absorber for off-road, but since 2013 it has been updated with the new valve technology and with some re-ignition operations by Ohlins R & D. The result is the STX 46.

Compared to the previous 46mm models, the STX is updated in many areas, with a consequent developed dynamic of the shock that the pilot will be able to perceive, offering a better functionality in every possible condition. The two-way compression adjuster is new and similar to the Öhlins TTX shock absorbers for larger bikes. The wide range of low-speed compression settings and 3-speed high-speed compression adjustment leave nothing to be desired and create great performance.

Also the PDS - Progressive Damping System - has been updated to better control the forces to which the shock is subject. Extension damping adjustment and spring preload adjustment are also available. A wide range of springs is as always available to choose from.
