Developed with Ohlins technology TTX has a 36mm internal piston, it's a monotube high pressure gas type of shock absorber with external “piggy back” reservoir. It's adjustable rebound damping, and adjustable compression damping and has variable wheelbase length with a hose mounted hydraulic spring preload adjuster. It is possible to choose the spring setting for free with rider weight and riding style.
