FORK FOR OFF-ROAD

Ohlins presents its last front fork for motocross, the RXF 48S. With this fork we aimed to improve even more the previous model, trying to improve stability, defined and resolved without hardness. For 2018, an upgrade was performed both internally in the damping system and externally in the lower fork legs.

For this new fork for off-road, important objectives have been achieved by redesigning the crucial parts of the internal valve and modifying the stack layout. With these combined modifications ohlins offers the rider a fork that has improved in terms of stability, stiffness, defined position, front wheel feedback, stable movement and the ability to handle larger impacts.

Our 2018 fork will feature gold TiNitrate surface treatments on the lower legs of the fork so as to ensure greater durability, scratch resistance and low friction in high load situations. The color of the guide sleeve has also changed from black to blue for a more uniform visual appearance. Alongside these visual changes for 2018, the sticker on the front fork has also been changed from the previous '40s' decal to an updated version as a reminder of the established Öhlins date of 1976.
