The BST GP TEK carbon wheel set for Suzuki GSXR1000 2019-2022 was developed with a clear mission: to engineer the lightest motorcycle wheels possible without compromising strength, stiffness or performance. By combining advanced materials with cutting-edge engineering methods, BST created a structure made from specialized carbon fibre, specifically selected to deliver enhanced cornering stiffness while using less material. The result is a dramatic reduction in unsprung and rotating mass, improving acceleration, braking, corner entry and overall energy efficiency. The front wheel weighs just 1.7 kg, while the rear wheel weighs 2.4 kg (depending on configuration). Unique features include internal spoke support structures, achievable only through the most advanced manufacturing techniques inspired by Formula 1 technology.
