The system features a double-flow muffler, developed to optimize exhaust gas management and improve overall performance. Akrapovic in-house dyno testing recorded gains of +1.0 kW / +1.3 hp at 12,000 rpm and +1.0 Nm at 5,500 rpm compared with the Suzuki GSX-R1000RR equipped with the standard stock exhaust used as the reference configuration.

The result is improved engine response combined with a deep and sporty sound, while retaining full road homologation.
