CREATE YOUR WHEELS

The project has been developed through a series of targets requiring two years of technical work:

• to realize a wheel suitable for the modern tubeless tires as well as for any other type of road or off-road tire.
  
• to optimize the choice of construction technology and materials for each wheel component. The hub is obtained from a forged light alloy. Spokes are manufactured of high-tensile steel. The rim is made of an aluminium alloy blank with exceptional characteristics and created using an innovative construction technology making use of CNC machines in the final phase.
  
• to perfect the geometry of the various components to create an ensemble in which each element is perfectly suited to work with the part it comes in contact with. 32 spokes are used on the rear wheel while 28 are used on the front wheell. The spokes are pefectly rectilinear in order to distribute the loads ideally. The rim is free of the classic holes and the spoke and nipple assembly creates an automatic alignment with the wheel hub.
  
• to obtain a wheel built with at least as high quality as a light-alloy forged wheel. The finishing and the particular assembly in fact allow for a dimensional precision ten times greater than that of a normal spoke wheel.
  
• to create a product that does not require adjustment of the assembly to the different bikes it is destined to. This is why KINEO wheels are equipped with high-quality brake discs and final drive rear sprocket created with the latest technology.

THE FEATURES

RIM
Suitable for tubeless tires and Off-road tube-type tires.
The rim is produced from a blank built using a new process permitting the use of 7000 aluminium alloy. The final phase includes CNC machining. Aluminium valve supplied.
Colours available: Coated matt black, Anodized glossy black, Shining silver. Other colours on request.

HUB
The hub is obtained from a forged 7000 aluminium alloy. The forged blank has a geometry similar to the finished item; this allows optimal distribution of the material fiber and provides maximum shock resistence. The final phase incluses CNC machining. Colours available: Anodized matt black, Anodized glossy black, Shining silver, Anodized glossy titanium, Anodized glossy magnesium. Other colours on request.

SPOKES
The double swaged 5/4mm spokes are produced in h igh-resistance stainless steel. The 28 front and 32 rear spokes are perfectly rectilinear. The spokes are turned on the hub with a normal hexagonal wrench. Eventual replacements may be made without disassembling the bike tire and wheel. Galvanized black spokes available on request.

NIPPLES
Nipples geometry is the greatest innovation of KINEO wheels. These elements are fixed on the rim in a parallel position with respect to the wheel axis and require no holes on the rim. The light alloy nipples are available in Black, Silver, Red, Blue, Orange, Green, Gold and Titanium to allow the wheel to be customised to match the bike colour.

BRAKE DISC CARRIER
The Kineo brake disc carrier allows the original braking system to be used (not BMW R1200GS, R1200R, R1200 HP2 Megamoto).
A series of two disc carriers for the front wheel and a single disc carrier for the rear wheel allow easy assembly of the original braking discs with no need to make additional modifications on the bike. When this equipment is installed, even the ABS system sensor can be assembled as originally designed.
FRONT TWIN BRAKE DISCS (for BMW R1200GS, R1200R, R1200 HP2 Megamoto only). The discs are In-Motion exclusive design, Galfer wave system, floating, 305mm diameter (R1200GS) and 320mm diameter (R1200R + HP2 Megamoto).

CUSHION DRIVE
The Maxi 17 and Big Enduro rear wheels are equipped with a specific 8 pins cushion drive which is completely external to the rear wheel hub. This feature is entirely indipendent of the wheeel and has a double bearing to hold the radial charge induced by the chain shot. In this way, the wheel needs only two bearings and maximises mobility. The rear drive transmission shocks are reduced by 8 silent-blocks. The Kineo cushion drive requires a specific 520 – 525 – 530 size Kineo rear sprocket.

REAR SPROCKET
All the Kineo rear sprockets are In-Motion exclusive design, 7075T6 material, 40 micron hard anodised and are made by Chiaravalli.
Sprockets for Big Enduro wheels are available as 525 size, 38 to 48 teeth.

The Kineo crown by In Motion Group in hard anodized alloy (8 fixing holes, size and number original teeth), the flexible coupling, the outer spacers and screws are supplied with the device and / or installed depending on the model.
